Historian, Costumer, Designer
The Vintage Dressmaker is dedicated to costume research, history, clothing design and construction in the 1920's and beyond. This blog is a work in progress and will contain information on everything you need to know to create your own historically accurate clothing, including measuring, fitting and detailed construction notes using 1920's drafting methods and tools.
My goal is to utilize this knowledge and research to create and launch my own line of historically accurate clothing patterns of the 1920's in the near future geared towards reinactors, movie costumers and historians interested in accurate period clothing.
